Domestic Space - 'The Room' - Data Permutations

The characteristics of the architectural measurement data were considered from the point of view of complexity of the space (22 unique measurements describing the mathematical properties of the space), variability (the variation in the dimensions of the surfaces and planes defining the space) and randomness (the uniqueness of the arrangement of the measured surfaces defining the space).

The measurements were randomly re-ordered 100 times in order to emphasise the characteristics of the data and of the space. The resulting images were used to create a large screenprint entitled 'Permutations'.
